Beck’s Boarding @ Leeds

In 2011 I went to Northop college to study Level 3 Diploma in Animal Welfare and Husbandry, here I learnt extensive knowledge of all animal groups, my favourite being the mammals sector.

I have one cat currently, Nala, and have had a range of pets prior, these include dogs, hamsters, mice and lizards.

I thoroughly enjoy caring for animals, observing their behaviour and being in their company.
I have a rescue cat, Nala, who is 4 years old.

Nala was thrown out of her home at when she was only 3 months old, I found her wandering the streets. Completely neglected she was wary of humans, full of fleas and worms and scarily underweight for her age. It took about a month to get her to full health and about a week for her to trust me fully.

We have an amazing relationship, she trusts me whole heartedly. Nala comes when I call her, responds to me when I talk to her, she even sits and stands for a treat.

I have integrated Nala with friends pets such as other cats and a tortoise, Nala’s reaction is always curiosity and to play as she is kind natured. She has become my best friend and I love her all the world.
Having knowledge of animal health, behaviour, grooming and care as well as love for all animals, your pets would be in reliable hands and would feel safe and comfortable for the duration of their stay.
The satisfaction of making an animal feel happy and safe is what I enjoy most.

I also enjoy observing behaviour so that I can learn how best to interact with the animal so that it knows I am it’s friend. I aim to gain an animals trust when it is in my care as that gives me an amazing feeling, knowing the animal feels at home.
